“Providing Indigent Defense in the County of Lake”

Lake Legal Defense Services, Inc., a California corporation often referred to as “LLDS, Inc.”, is the contract provider of indigent defense services to the County of Lake, California.

Lake Legal Defense Services, Inc. provides the County of Lake with a group of attorneys who are appointed by the Courts to represent people who cannot afford their own attorney.  This is often referred to as “public defense.”  The attorneys who provide public defense for the County of Lake are private attorneys who have a contractual relationship with Lake Legal Defense Services, Inc.
